PBIS School Assembly:

“Be Kind and Do the Right Thing”

Jim’s PBIS school assembly focuses on being kind and doing the right thing. If you’re not a PBIS school, Jim will focus on Kindness, Being Respectful and Working Hard. For PBIS schools, Jim will emphasize your school’s PBIS traits like being Respectful, being Responsible, being Ready and being Safe.

In this fun and engaging school assembly, Jim Basketball Jones motivates students to give their best effort, encourage others and never give up. This assembly will be filled with interactive activities that allow students to practice being respectful, responsible and safe while having fun and cheering on their classmates.

Not all schools have the exact same PBIS programs or initiatives. Jim will tailor his PBIS school assembly to meet the needs of your school and your school’s current PBIS program, or on kindness, respect and effort if you are not a PBIS school.

"In my 20 years of being an elementary school principal, I have never offered to write a letter of recommendation for an assembly...However, that was before Jim "Basketball" Jones visited our school.  I can only echo what several teachers told me: 'That was the best assembly we have ever had.'"

What your students will learn

Knowledge is Power when Applied:  Knowledge does not become power unless we APPLY it. We know what it takes to be kind, to be respectful, to be responsible, to be safe, and to be ourselves - but that knowledge does not become power unless we apply it and take action to make an impact.

We Become Our Choices:  "Good Choice, Bad Choice, My Choice", our character reflects the choices that we make. It’s important to make the right choice, right time, the right way! Pause to Think before you take action.

Be “Your” Best:  When you come to school, be “YOUR” best. Give “YOUR” best effort and have “YOUR” best attitude. It’s not important whose the tallest, fastest, or smartest – it’s important that you be “YOUR” best! “Own Your Effort!”

School is FUN!: School is a fun safe place for you to be the best version of yourself. Be creative and allow others to be the best version of themselves.
